I see.

Dendrobiums are sometimes quite puzzling.
I saw about three at the Botanical Garden the other day that I really wanted. They had multiple spikes loaded with beautiful flowers.

When I checked the roots and mix hidden under the decorative moss cover layer on top, I was shocked to see how all the roots were dead or rotten. Two of them were wobbly as well.

I was so tempted. I was thinking maybe I could bring the plant back to life using the old cane. then again, with $58 per plant, that was too much to risk for me. so I had to leave them all there.
Grrrrrrrr!!!!!

I wouldn't have bought one with bad roots for $58, this was pretty cheep which is what made me decide to enjoy the flowers and see if I can save it. I think it should be OK as it's not as bad a feared.
