Default Dendrobium aggregatum/lindleyi

Hi!

I have a question that I hope some soul out there will help me answer.
So this weekend, I got a blooming size Dendrobium aggregatum. It's got a new growth growing with plenty of healthy roots. I know that this orchid needs a good winter rest to bloom well.
Now my question is, should I continue it's winter rest until spikes appear or should I begin watering now and wait until next year to complete it's winter rest?

Thanks a lot!

Oh! my growing area... I grow out of a east upstairs window in San Francisco's Bay Area. I have been able to successfully bloom other dendrobium species.

Of continue the rest period. I'd be willing to bet that your buying it and moving it and having it in your space will cause it to spike very soon. They're sensitive that way.
