It's typical of many of the Oxyglossums, with its flat fan-shaped flowers, long spur and pointed and colored mid-lobe to the lip. D. cuthbertsonii, though an Oxyglossum, has a very different shape from most of the others.

Thanks, Monika. I nicely illustrates what I like about the Oxyglossums - small and attractive plants and beautifully colored and long-lasting flowers.

That is so cute! A quick look made me think 'crocus'. As mentioned, the colors are very nice. If I see this one at an orchid show, I am going to get it.

It sort of reminds me of Rain Lily (Zephyranthes) I used to grow. I miss them!
