Default Dendrobium loddigesii

This is also a well-known, widely grown plant. This plant (I received as a present from a dear friend) is smaller than the regular, with shorter stems, which makes it a compact grower, very distinct from the type.

Good lookin flowers! Do you give this one a dormant rest in the winter? Some sources hint at it but never really say how much dormancy is needed.

I have this and another clone of the species and give no dormancy in the winter at all. BTW, I give no dormancy to any Dendrobium I grow and they go very well. That's not necessary in my opinion, Isurus.
