I grow this one mounted, and give it a cool autumn/winter rest. It requires quite high humidity, so it's "under glass". This is the best blooming I've had so far.

How long do you rest it for? It is suggested for most Latourea section Dens to keep damp right through the year. Not the case with this one?

Bloomin Aussie and AnonYMouse: What worked for me may not work for you, our growing conditions are bound to be different. I grow this one in a terrarium, in front of a window, which stays open until the temps fall too low (-5C when the wind is on that side). It gets quite the temp. drop that way. It does not get fertilized from beg. September, and lightly sprayed with rainwater only 1 - 2 a week until buds appear. I keep the humidity up by spraying the moss and ground cover between pots. The rh is between 65 - 80% most of the time. Keeping the rh. up is the biggest problem.

Ah. I see. I think that's actually how it would be in nature. Bound to have plenty of available moisture if the rh is that high.
