That's for sure! My orchids are slow this year. I have lots in spike but nothing in time for Christmas. Port Alberni is very dull in the winter.

That is the one disadvantage of living in the Pacific Northwest, the long dreary winter days, but there's more than enough other benefits to make up for that and it'll soon be spring.

Should have added that its bloom season for many Masdevallias and Dend. cuthbertsonii, so we have plenty of color.
