I use the skewer method to tell when to water, just stick a kebab skewer in the middle of the pot into the medium and check it when you think it might be time to water, if it comes out moist hold off until it comes out dry.

I don't know if for this type of Den you would need to water even less in order to give it a rest period. Honestly I have no real experience with Dens as I only have one and it's a soft cane Den, I believe yours is a hard cane.

Anyone with more experience please help

I can't tell if its a nobile type or a den-phal, but I still believe that you repotted it at the wrong time.
Nevertheless, dens are hardy plants, so it'll probably grow new canes. It doesn't matter that it has no leaves.

From noticing that there's the leftover part where the spike was cut back on the tip of the bigger pseudobulb, I'm going to guess that yours is a Dendrobium phalaenopsis type?

Dendrobiums are hardy plants. I ordered a NoID dendrobium phalaenopsis off of eBay earlier this year and I had no idea that it was going to be shipped all the way from Spain, lol (I like to say now that it was imported... ).

Well, it was basically just one leafless pseudobulb with one new growth, that was only a couple of inches long, coming from it and not much of a root system either. When the seller shipped it, they had even bent the pseudobulb about a third of the way down and at a 90 degree angle in order to make it fit into the box (EEK!). But I eventually got it to straighten back out again over time. Upon closer inspection, I'd noticed that the tip of the new growth was rotting. (I don't think that was the seller's fault tho, and it probably happened during shipment.) So I had to cut it off. Well, I repotted it and took care of it along with my other orchids. Soon after, not only did it have a new growth coming from the base of it, but it also had four keikis budding out from it as well. Along with many new roots, and now my den-phal seems to be doing happier than ever.

It's not a mobile. Yes, it had a spike from the top. It had blue/purple blooms. The plant was so tightly potted in moss, and it stayed wet for so long, that I wanted to take it out of the medium. I have other dens. without leaves on some canes, but they have leaves on other canes. This is the only one that has no leaves at all, and I worry that it may not be able to photosynthesise to thrive. But I guess, I have to wait it and see.

I see some of our fellow orchid lovers using tapatalk. Wonder if that app is easy for somebody like me!
I don't use tapatalk so can't answer that for you.

It does look like a Phal type Dendrobium based on where the old spike was. I have several leafless ones and I don't know if its something I am doing. Dens seem to shed rather easily and the big fat canes can do some photosynthesizing so I think it will be fine. That type grows somewhat warmer than nobile type but I am not real experienced with them. I would say water it but don't over-water.
