Can someone tell me what is going on with the leaves turning yellow? It is not old growth. It was perfectly happy until we started getting cooler temperatures. It is root bound and I'm watering now every 5 days.

I don't believe so. During the summer when it is hot in my house I was watering every 3 days and now took it to every 5 days. Maybe should have just went to 4 days.

It is a warm to hot growing hybrid. If it is on a windowsill it maybe got a cold shock. Orchidwiz says minimum 66F for night temps are recommended. It says to reduce watering during winter, but not by how much!

My first thought was that this is the season for growth to die off... But perhaps it is an overwatering issue?

BTW, I water my Den's maybe every 7 days during the winter, and sometimes I go two weeks although that may be pushing it...

I'm willing to bet its cold damage. It doesn't take much to make these guys drop leaves. I've seen the same on some of mine when they get missed before a colder night.

I have a min/max thermomter and the low has only been 68 so far. Maybe I am over watering. It is in straight lava rock with nothing else added in a 4 in plastic pot. I know Lava doesn't hold the moisture like bark. I will allow more days between water and see what happens.

You might try a bamboo skewer in the media to monitor the moisture. Or, a freshly sharpened pencil.

Just update on the Dend problem. I changed the medium put her in a really warm place and now she has a spike. Yeah
