Could not get my usual car park in town today , so parked in a side street at the back of the pub. I'm never in a rush , and stopped to look at all the birds up in one of the large Ficus trees around the carpark over the road.
Well lucky me , there was several canes hanging from the enormous 'Basket ferns'
Drynaria quercifolia This orchid is very easy to identify as the infloresence is so compact , it really lives up to the common name of 'Bottle Brush Orchid'
Several plants in full flower , what a show .
Did get a pic over the road at Brians , his is planted at head height , not 15m up a tree
