Default Great looking Dendrobium foliage!!

I got lots of nice leaves on everything..they just need some nice blooms too.

dendrobium farmeri. this was a new buy in june and its doing very well. This is going to be another blooming monster I'm hoping

dendrobium jenkinsii has been around with no blooms for some time also. They get plenty of light and its been growing like a weed. It was in a 2 inch pot when I got it and its growing beyond a 4 inch now. Come on you pretty little yellow flowers make my day

dendrobium anosmum has bloomed when I got it in february and this is the 1 cane thats new. Its doing well and should bloom on time this late winter. Its going to lose the leaves though and it makes me sad already

I didnt think I had much to show but looking at my foliage makes me very proud of my plants

Thank you!!!

thank you I grow almost everything in the same mix of medium orchiata bark, dyna rok and charcoal. This one has more dyna rok in it as I just potted it up in a larger pot instead of breaking it apart and fouling the fine roots up.

the ratios are 3 parts orchiata bark
2 parts dyna rok
1 part charcoal..all graded medium.

The dyna rok is good stuff. You cant over water it

I have farmeri and jenkensii. For both I think they need a cool period in winter. For farmeri down to 55 or so, and less water and higher light.
For jenkensii few degrees colder down to 50 and compleley dry from thanks giving to valentines day. Then you will see blooms. Mine gets a little desiccated, but that seems to be ok.
For annosum I heard just dry without the lower temps and high light. I don't have this plant. Your plants look very healthy though .
Good luck
Andrew

Thanks you again

good for me my temps are about to drop and 50 is about the low limits to everything I have orchid. I think many of my non blooming orchids right now are going to need some kind of temp drop/increased light and less water for at least a few weeks to set some bud stimuli into action. I have an idea that most of these are mature blooming size ,I have had them so long ...I know some of the other dens I have can get quite large before they start to bloom. They might even get larger before they bloom for me

a never bloomed Den. Formosum hybrid.
