Default Dendrobium crumenatum

This is a very short-lived Dendrobium, I mean, its flowers are. They stay open for a few hours, if so! When the buds are forming you have to stay alert, otherwise you don't see the flowers. Yesterday, bye the end of the day, the buds of mine weren't open. When I remembered to check them out today (by noon), they had opened and faded already! Only one of the flowers, although already fading, was more or less open and I photographed it anyway.

That's a real cutie! You need an alarm for when it blooms!

YEs short lived , but when you have massive clumps of them , its easy to catch a glimpse of plenty of blooms .
Very common around here , even seeding and spreading into some areas of the rainforest .
