aemiklain:
The yellowing in the leaves from the old cane is natural. When the night temp drops to 50s, a lot of nobiles will start to do that.
However, when the weather gets cool, it is time to reduce watering by A LOT.
I do not water my nobile hybrids from Late November to about February when I start to see flower buds from the canes.
Also, do you see terminal leaves on the new canes? Meaning that the new canes look like they are done growing with no more new leaves coming.
When you see that, it is time to reduce watering.
This type of Dendrobium won't flower well without a dry, cool and sunny winter rest. Put it next to a sunny window, let the night time temp drop to the 50s and leave it dry. If you must water, do it may be a once a month between November and February.
Also, now is not the time to re-pot. The plant should be left alone to rest.
I hope this helps.
