Dendrobium Phalaenopsis spiking - Page 2 - Orchid Board

This is how it looks today. All the spikes have developped well. One of the spikes has opened all it's blooms. I guess the rest will follow soon. Hopefuly they last as long as the first blooming (more than 5 months). Now that I know they can bloom more than once from the same cane, I'll take better care of them and not neglect them again.

This is how she looks today. If I only had taken better care of her, she might look better now. Anyway, is it a deciduous plant or did she loose the leaves because of my neglecting her?

These are not deciduous as such, but they can survive leaf drop. Mine kept their leaves for several years, then neglect made them loose them all. I'm hoping I can get them to keep the leaves on their latests growths

I love the Den Phal's or Bigibbum, but can't seem to find them for sale anywhere. And then only in lavender color. Love the pic above.

This is the bloom season for them, I've been seeing them (hybrids in different colors) in stores that sell orchids. A lot of online vendors sell den-phals. Probably need to just browse their Dens. I got my bigibbum var. compactum from Andy's.
