Default Dendrobium (FancyAngel ‘Lycee’ X ToMyKids)

This is a nobile hybrid but warmth tolerant so it does not require as much cooling to set flower buds....this is late blooming for this cycle it should have flowered late spring …fragrant early evening like the smell of hyacynth and berries....compact and easy to grow….this likes to be outside during the warm summer months and blooms when there is longer daylight time; it also helps that the nights are cooler this summer ….I leave them outdoor until fall and bring inside a week before the first frost. They thrive well under moderate temperatures....it likes to be root-bound and do well in relatively small pot. Too much fertilizer and too much warm nights will produce keikis and no blooms.

nobile are great, I love them! easy and great grower, great color and nice scent!
I just wish they didn't have that cooling requirement. My friend sold his apartment and now I have no where to put my nobiles for cooling treatment in the winter. hmmmm quite lost.

it depends if you have too much fertilizer and too much warmth...then keikis will appear and no blooms....but this is warmth tolerant....I understand your plight....you are lucky to have friends to house your plants
