Hey everyone

It was probably the way the light outside was at the time that makes the colour a bit more golden than a bright firey-orange in a couple of pictures, but I hope you get the idea. It's such a beauty, and as you can see, the keiki's in flower as well (though, as it's got a good few roots and has the start of a new cane coming, once the flowers die back, I'll detach and pot it up on it's own )

Thanks everyone - I'm surrounded by flowers at the moment (and have some more, this time gorgeous phals, getting ready to burst as well). However, this one really stands out

Congrats on the blooms! !!
I love this plant. Mine usually looses a lot more leaves by the time it flowers.. How do you grow it? did you give it a winter rest etc?

I'm pretty new to Dens, I have to admit. So, I'm still feeling my way around them. I'm working to the same idea as my other winter rest plants in that I stop water from the end of october and water roughly beginning of nov, dec, and jan and then gradually back to once a week watering in mid feb. That's how I'm back to doing it over the last couple of years as I tried one year just watering once in dec for those on rest, and it wasn't enough!

Funnily enough, my neighbour grows Dens. Her house is (roughly speaking) at the bottom of my garden. She has hers in the window that faces the one I have mine in, which means mine are facing south and hers are facing north. When I saw hers a few weeks ago, she had less leaves than I did. We put it down to them not being the same plant, but maybe that could be a factor.....
