Den. parishii Male
Default Den. parishii

The plant is short, about 10-15 cm tall. The blooms are very fragrant.

Lovely, pheli! One of my favorite species. Interesting that yours is only now losing its leaves, mine seems to lose them very quickly in the fall regardless of how much I water.

I grew my plant under low light level last year. The leaves had not turned yellow till this spring.

My plant is just starting to lose its leaves now also. I grow under 50% shade cloth. I'll have to try something different next year to see if it will make them drop sooner. I have a lot of keiki's on one PB also.

I love this plant, have one of my own. Smells like raspberry ice cream.

Did you give it a cool to almost cold dry rest? I gave mine no water from November to March, full afternoon sun and night temps around 50 F (10 C).

This is what I got this spring...

Very nice!
Thanks for posting Pheli & Andrew!
I ended up getting one of these as a TC to the spring project plant this year. Gives me something to look forward too.

Nice blooms, I love these Dens with the fuzzy lips! Den parishii is on my wishlist, but I told myself I'd only get it if I manage to bloom my Den aphyllum...
