Yes, he leaves the orchids alone, tho does check them out sometimes.

Well, the funny thing with this window is I had placed the window perch there for my previous kitty, Taz - he never used it, so with time, the window became full of orchids. I just completely didn't think about it at all when I brought Jack home. After he had been here a couple of weeks, I went to water the plants in that window and found a few of them knocked over, so I knew Jack had found the window perch! lol So, that's when we made the deal (that and after he jumped up onto another windowsill that had lots of plants on it - he was careful, and didn't knock any over, but still ...) that that particular window was his, but he needed to not get in the others - I do have some big slider windows that look out back as well, and there's a cat tree in front of one, and so he can look out, snooze in front of those windows as much as he likes - just the windows with sills are off limits except for the one with the perch. Jack would probably prefer there weren't so many plants on windowsills, so that he could use them, but he's been good about it
