Camille, I used to have one before I gave it to my brother a couple of years ago, not because I didn't like it or it did poorly, but more because it seemed like a good plant to get him hooked on orchids...
It really is a nice little species.
Anyway, I grew it very moist with medium-bright light ('Phal' light, I guess), infrequent fertilizer, and in temps ranging anywhere from 15-30 C. It always seemed to do most of its active growing in the cooler times of year. I suspect it wanted more air movement than I gave it since it was fairly prone to unsightly black spotting on the leaves, but it grew strongly and bloomed regularly all the same. My brother's growing it pretty much the same as I did, albeit with somewhat lower light and more constant temps, and it's just cruising along with regular flushes of blooms every 6-8 months.
Some of the biggest and happiest ones I've seen are grown in wooden baskets with moss-based mixes (w/ treefern, perlite, LECA, etc. mixed in). I'd guess semi-hydro would also suit it well. Overall seems like a pretty resilient and trouble-free species, definitely one I'll try again someday. Hope this helps!
