Talking Little Dendrobium nobile blooming

Last summer, OB member Glengary (thanks Glen!) sent me a couple of Den. nobile keikis - both consisting of two canes of about 4-5" each. I didn't know if they were big enough to bloom, and have not grown this type before so wasn't sure about the winter rest. These both lost a leaf here and there late summer/early fall, but didn't see a major leaf drop in fall, so I continued water and fertilizer, tho less of both with the cooler weather, shorter days.

Some time around mid-late December I noticed nodes beginning to swell. I started water and fertilizer rest at that point, but figuring it was now too late. The spot where I have been growing this doesn't receive much light in winter either. I watched the nubs grow unable to tell if they were keikis or spikes, but figuring they must be keikis. So imagine my surprise when I notice buds developing!

One or two nubs did not develop at all, and I lost a bud at some point, but all in all I am quite tickled that it's blooming!

Thanks for looking
