Bolero & Gloria, Thanks! It was after seeing the lip that I knew I had to grow this one.
Pheli, Yes, I can see where that would be a problem - but on the bright side, you can grow so many warm growing orchids that I can only dream of!!

Shakkai here's an updated photo of my Den. jenkinsii. Picture 1 shows one unopened new lead. Picture 2 shows the other two new leads opened. The leaf on the left next to the tag is new, and the leaf 2nd from the bottom right is also new. Picture 3 is the overall plant. Seems to be happy so far.

Terri - That does look like one happy plant! Thanks for the update - you should be proud of such a well grown plant. When is the flowering period for this one?

Well shoot! I can't take much credit for it looking so good, I've only had it since early August! It was a TC with the Project 4 plant. It's a spring bloomer and needs a dry winter rest in full sun. I'll probably put it out in my quilting studio with the nobile dendro. It has a west window and says around 50 degrees in the winter.

Terri, I think you can claim those new growths, so its obviously happy with the care you've been giving it!!
This will be my first time doing the cold, dry winter rest thing with orchids... I hope it goes well for me.
I'll be waiting in the Spring to see photos of the flowers!!
Kathy, I forgot to say thanks before for you nice comment. So, Thanks!!

Mauro... Never give up. I'm sure you will find one eventually. And it is worth the wait.
