Default Den. Stardust 'Firebird"

Here is my tiny plant that I got from Ching Hua in feb. It had tiny little nubs of spikes and several developed to give me a few blooms. The blooms cluster is almost larger than the tiny little canes!

Funny how you and Nenella posted the same day! Amazing that such a tiny little plant can still bloom so beautifully. Your blooms are more unicum-like (recurving petals) than Nenella's plant.
Dang, I should have also gotten one from Ching Hua!

Yes, it is odd we both posted the same day. I guess it's their time to shine I hope mine survives as there is so little to it and I don't see any new roots. I noticed mine had the unicum look more than Nenella's. And yet they are the same cultivar. Oh well, I like it. Mine is maybe a bit paler than the picture came out, but a nice orange and very nice lip. Ching Hua still has them so I'm sure you can get one the next show they attend that you are at.

Too bad I don't have one to display on my windowsill now, the Netherlands will be going orange crazy soon as the Queen's day celebrations are in a week.

Very Nice! I'm glad I'm not the only one posting about this hybrid anymore You'll be getting new growths that will flower next year.
