It can do well mounted, but watch how much moisture it is receiving.

The light should be a bit more than for that for a Phal.

Mommy...yes you can have this plant mounted and yes you may have Phal lighting in general but in winter it needs brighter light especially while in bud

I only have large, west facing windows, so I tried the 2nd one under lights. Two years later they were both goners. I have little success with dens., except for aberrans and rigidum. So I'll stick to those.

Sometimes they look dead but they're not.

With these, don't worry about having them look pristine. It's most likely not going to happen. They may not look "perfect", but they're far from being dead.
