I got this one NBS three years ago - it dutifully bloomed the next spring, last spring, and now again, as well as 2-3 times through out the year last year. Previously it has had only had 1 spike with 2-3 blooms at a time, but right now has three blooming spikes on an older cane. I just spotted a tiny new spike on last year's cane today
Hard to capture the color - it's quite saturated, and varies with the light from reddish-purple to blue-purple.
It's an undemanding plant, but does like it's water very much
