Very nice. I wish my plant would bloom...instead it gave me lots and lots of small keikis...oh well...maybe next season I will have lots and lots of flowers...

Ive just fell apon a rather large one from a orchid sale a few days ago. can u give me a few pointers on how to keep it happy....

I did notice where you were from so Im going to assume you are in winter also. Right now while its blooming I let it dry out before I water it. Dont want the blooms falling off bec of too much water right now bec there isnt enough sun to offset it, and in that case the plant cant use it. After its done blooming and starts into spring it needs to be grown warm and in bright indirect light. It does get some direct sun from 9 am to about 11:30. While in growth it needs to be kept moist and not dry out. Fertilized weakly weekly with whatever you use on the rest of your plants. Im sure if Ive done something wrong here I trust one will correct me . You know what works for one doesnt always work for another. So you take general care of the plant and as you get to know the plant you can tailor your culture of them. I hoped I halped some

Beautiful!! anosum is such a nice one. I wish I could grow these winter resting Dens, but I have nowhere to put them for their rest.

ok so far no bud blast. i woke this morning to find that one one of the buds have bloomed....it not getting any direct sunlight but i do put it out in the early morning for 2 hrs and the rest of the day it gets bright indirect sun.
