Dendrobium Rainbow Dance
Dendrobium Rainbow Dance (Karenai X unicum, 1988). A favorite of mine ! The last 2 pix are the first bloom with 43 blooms, 5 buds and the single 2009 pix is from a camera with better color rendition and is closer to the true color than today's camera color !!!

I have a Rainbow Dance, too. It's blooming like crazy and I just love it. It looks like an orchid bouquet. I bought it last spring from a California grower, but there is a big difference between yours and mine--You have leaves and mine has dropped all of its leaves. It blooms on bare canes. The cultivar name is 'Akazukinchan'. Do you know yours? Do you know if there is a deciduous variety?

Don't know the cultivar name ! The pix are of blooms on a bare cane but it also has buds on a leaved cane and anywhere else it feels like !!! Attached are the first bloom pix = 43 blooms, 5 buds !!! The camera that took these had a better color rendition or whatever and the #3 is the true color, even today !!!

Wow, your plant is beautiful!! I must still have a fairly young orchid because the longest cane is only about 7 inches.(Well, the grower did say it was a "compact grower".) All the canes are leaning towards/over the edge of the pot, though. I look forward to having a display like yours. Absolutely awesome!!
