Dendrobium Mingle's Sapphire (again), plus some 'fun' with photography ;p
This is a young plant - bloomed for the first time spring of last year. I'm only getting 2-3 blooms at a time still, BUT this is it's fourth time blooming this year.
Color this time is much more saturated than previous blooms. It's very hard for me to capture the color correctly; first photo is quite close, tho can depend on the angle of computer monitor ,,,
I've also included a few pix from when I was moving this plant to different light (as well as trying my phone, and using different light settings), trying to capture the color as well as possible. It's quite amazing the difference!
Thanks for looking

Thanks Joann
actually the first is most accurate - might be slightly 'bluer' than the photo, but not as blue as 5&6

and, not unreasonable ... parents are victoria-reginae and gonzalessii, colors vary from pale pink or purple, to deeper shades, and some are bluer than others

thanks Eric I quite like this one, been an easy grower and bloomer for me, and as it matures, should be a frequent bloomer, or even nearly ever blooming
