Default ok Im still doing iot wrong but lol I think I will continue

Ok pics still need reduced in size to post but my Den pierardii has decided to bloom again for me ,second time this year it bloomed for the first time for me this spring early even with no winter rest and having never dropped leaves .....

once again not a leaf has dropped off the canes bursting out with buds and so far I count 150 nodes with buds and lol they appeared over the last two days while I was gone ......

It made a few buds last fall just after coming inside but I did not have enough lighting and it was a very young plant just 3 or 4 months old ....

Evidently this one while it is deciduous and supposed to need a winter rest in order to bloom does not in fact absolutly require this ....I have not gave it a dry period at all or a cool rest period at all and it looks like it will be a tremendous bloom .....I May be surprised and see it suddenly fail and lose bud sites needed for spring but Im going to attempt to get it to bloom and then into active growth again

Im thinking that I will indeed ignore the culture sheets for this one ......last fall it was just a baby and a few months old so I thought the buds at the end of the cane were just end of the year flukes .....

This time with 150 nodes budded already and thats only about half the nodes im thinking I will see a massive bloom. Since each node will make at lest 2 buds and maybe 3 if it goes all the way to bloom I will see 300 to 450 blooms just from what I could count so far.It did not lose the leaves from the canes it grew last year untill just before I brought in in last month so this years canes still verdant green and every leaf still in place kind of shows me it realy dosent care so much about the dry rest period in winter as the culture sheets claim it does.

Leaf drop definatly does not matter but I will say that it would probably let the blooms show off better if they did drop off

Wow! That's great! You'll have a stunning display if all the nodes bloom. Be sure to post photos.
