Dendrobium Spring Doll "Sweetheart" HCC/ADS winter rest?
I have two Dendrobiums, one I know needs a Winter rest and I stopped watering it Halloween week. The other one is "cane like" and called Den. Spring Doll "Sweetheart" HCC/ADS, does this one need a Winter rest also? When does this one bloom, anyone know? Both Dens get morning sun for about an hour and seem to be doing very well, I spray them daily and have them sitting on humidity trays, I am not spraying the one at rest right now. Any help, as always, appreciated, you guys are awesome!

I believe your Spring Doll also gets a winter rest and will bloom in the early spring.
I'm not positive, but I think this plant was bred by H & R in HI.

Good thing I asked then Joann, I have been watering it 2 X a week since we have no humidity in Denver most of my Orchids have to be watered that often and sprayed every day.

OK, from my experience this year this is not a Den. that needs a Winter rest. After a month of not watering the leaves began to turn yellow the the plant was hanging and looked very sick. I water it now whenever it dries out and its doing very well. I have not watered my Aggeratum since Oct 31st and it looking good, shriveled psuedo bulbs, I spray it a couple times a week very lightly.

The soft cane den winter rest is not actually no water, but reduced water and no fertilizer. I usually water just enough to keep the canes from shriveling in the winter, then when new growth appears I increase watering and fertilize.

Spring Doll appears to be a winter bloomer. The several awarded plants were awarded in January and February. One parent is Ise, a very easy and prolific bloomer. The award on your plant should be AM/AOS. (I have an Ise hybrid in bloom now on a cane with full green foliage)

How much light do you give yours? So far I see no blooms starting, I got it last Spring at an Orchid meeting from a Judge and she had others at home blooming, she brought a bloom in and it was pure white. Can you give me tips on watering, does it need to dry out, mine does. Thank you for the information!
