Dendrobium Double Feature

Two Dendrobes in full bloom today (at least I think they are both Dendrobiums).

The purple one has three more spikes with buds preparing to bloom! It is in almost constant bloom here.

Amazing! It's always a wonder to me (living in the frozen north) when I see pics like these - with orchids growing happily outside. Beautiful.

I love these dendrobium orchids! I have one that is nearly always in bloom too so I just acquired two more. Yours are stunning!

Yes, quite handy to just grow them outside.

They have been ignored for a long time and the purple dendrobe had hopelessly overgrown it's pot (as have many orchids here). Re-potting is super easy...place in secure nook on a tree branch and crack the pot! The plant has now happily spread its root system out on to tree.
