Den. Larapinta "kings love" x utopia "H2"
having no success with flowering nobile type dendrobiums, i decided to go through the torturous ordeal
of trying my hand at the dry resting period these little guys need to initiate flowers...... It only lasted for about 3 weeks and i felt sorry for the little guy........(dropping leaves, and canes shrinking...) i feared the worst..... so it was back in it's spot receiving much loving care......
A short few weeks later, they started showing and before long the buds were all over, being as impatient as ever, i counted the buds everyday.... 98 on my final count and a reward of a stunning flower display.......
For my first try at dry rest for this guy, I think i did pretty great..............
