Default Dendrobium atroviolaceum 'Pygmy' x sib
This plant has been slightly 'dwarfed' by hybridization, so is quite small compared to the typical species. The flowers last quite literally for months and months. This plant started blooming in April, and still has fresh-looking flowers.

Hi DJ -
I have not detected a scent, but I think they are supposed to be fragrant. Maybe tweaking the plant to make it smaller had unexpected consequence.
The flowers come in umbels or clusters, held fairly close to the plant's foliage. Best seen up close!
