Den. secundum var. album
This is the white variety of Den. secundum. I find it unusual that the plant is blooming again. It was in bloom in March (4 months ago) with about the same number of inflorescences. There are 32 inflorescences on the plant at the moment, most of which are in bud. The plant is in a 8-inch plastic pot with bark as the media. The tallest stem is 25 inches tall. The plant is several years old.

Love it, keep doing whatevery you're doing, it likes it!! I always find it amazing at how crumby the dendrobium canes can look and a plant can almost look dead at flowering time!!

You are correct that you could easily mistake the old canes as dead. You can see several new growths at the bottom. These will sustain the plant growth until they too will mature, loose their leaves and eventually flower. I need to keep an eye on the media. If I'm not careful, the media will sour and the plant will die.
