That's good to know! If your water is good enough, then ours likely is too. It has almost no trace of chlorine, right from the tap, and tastes great. It seems neither acid or alkaline, but someing in between. I have found that my fish do well in it, too.
Maybe it's time that I tried another Cuthbertsonii!
But the only practical place to grow it is the basement, and I prefer to have it where I can see it.
How do you get reduced night temperatures if you grow them under lights?

I use a window to control the temps as much as possible - 55-70 or thereabouts in the winter and 65-75 in the summer.
