Dendrobium crumenatum Male
Default Dendrobium crumenatum

This evanescent flower with a very short blooming (less than one day) is recently bloomed. The flower is little scented (like wild violets) and is 3,5 cm wide and 3 cm. high.

Hey Massimo ... sweet bloom. Short lived for such a beauty is just wrong

Nice job growing

Mine too. Since the buds starts to enlarge to the flowering passes a very short time, and same for the flowering, only few hours in the afternoon and the next morning it's all gone.
Attention must be made or it is the risk to loose the flowering.
The orchids are so beautiful and so spiteful

Ciao

All the more beautiful because its beauty is so fleeting...

Thakshila, it must be quite a site to see all of these in flower. How lucky you are!

This plant is found almost everywhere atop trees in my country, though it's rare to have one low enough to smell the fragrance.
