Thanks for all the info. I seem to overcomplicated everything. I have grown many of things from cuttings but was confused when it came to orchids. I didn't think orchid could do that (besides vanilla) I thought it only grew from a rooted tube or growing plant. I have only been growing for about 3-4 months (beside tomatoes) and thanks to the people from the OB I don't have to learn by trial and error.

Your not over complicating it. The cane dendros are rare in the sense that they can be propagated in this way. Most orchids can not.
