Dendrobium goldschmidtianum Male
Default Dendrobium goldschmidtianum

Received as a gift / partial trade from Kelly W.
Came in jan /feb with some blooms and some blasted (greeenhouse in California to apt / window in Brooklyn NY).

It is blooming again now. Saw the buds forming a month ago. More blooms than it came with and now starting a new cane as well.

It came in a small / tight clear pot with roots coming out of the bottom.

I inserted the plastic pot in a small clay pot with coconut chips at the bottom and I inserted a piece of styrofoam to secure one pot to the other. When I put it outside I got a little sunburn on a few leaves. It does not seem to like the sun as my other orchids on my fire escape.

more photos here at the bottom of the album (some from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden)
