Den. taurinum Hybrid
This is a hybrid that has 60% Den. taurinum in its background. It is a very old hybrid (at least 20 years old) that I grew from a community pot. I purchased the community pot from an old timer who used Den. taurinum extensively in his breeding program to make blue antelope type hybrids. Den. taurinum was readily available in Hawaii many years ago but the specie has since gone extinct in the islands. I had several taurinums in my collection but they all died from bacterial rot. I'm glad to have this hybrid still alive to remind me of the beauty of Den. taurinum and its crosses.
