Den. nobile alba Male
Default Den. nobile alba

Den. nobile alba is seldom sold here. I purchased my plant from an orchid collector last year. Luckily, it bloomed these days. In distance, it looked like Den. superbum fma. alba which is a more commoner dendrobiums here.

Great looking blooms, Pheli. Do you also have the standard variety of this species? I have both, and it's interesting that the alba-flowered plant is about 1/3 the size of the two standard-flowered plants that I have. Just wondering if this is "normal." Congratulations on your flowers.

Steve

Steve, my white nobile is now about 1.5 feet tall. It is as tall as common nobile.
Alba version is still very rare here, which may be due to that, in past we Taiwanese prefered red or deep color blooms.
