My farmeri just opened up too. I didn't know they were scented. There is nothing in my books about that. What is the scent?
I'll need to go stick my nose in mine.

It smells....very....orchidy. Sorry, I'm not very good at describing scents! lol Mine smells all day, but especially at midday.

Hey are you sure it is farmeri?
It could be palpebrae which looks almost the same and is scented. I haven't found anything stating that farmeri is scented. Just wondering about it.

Melissa, I bought my farmeri, the pink form, at the Santa Barbara orchid show last month. It definitely has a very pleasant light scent, but the seller was saying it isn't (or shouldn't be) fragrant even as she smelled the flowers when I told her about the fragrance and other people said they smelled it, too  . It is labeled as Den. farmeri. Weird...
