Dendrobium parishii NOT doing anything ??
Hello all,
Wondering if you can help shed some light here :
My Dendrobium parishii ( blooming size - or has been told by seller when I bought it last year ) has been putting on winter rest (no water, just light spray every month or so ) since November, yet I am not seeing activitites on the plant as of now yet. The canes are bare ( no leaves ). They are plump and no sign of shriveling.
My Den nobile is already in bloom for a couple of weeks now, and Den loddigesii is about to bloom. These plants went on their winter rest at the same time as the Den parishii . They all are placed in same area where there are plenty of light. Night time temp in winter is in 50s F with day time temp in 60 - 70 F
So does anyone have any idea how I can "wake" my parishii up ? Even if it does not give out an buds, shouldn't it send out some leaves and/or new growth/roots ??
Thanks
