Default Den. kingianum - tiny keiki has spike
This keiki was developing along with a number of spikes on my Den. kingianum. I only realized a couple of weeks ago that it was a keiki, rather than a spike. Keiki is only about an inch long and has an itty bitty spike on it!

(please ignore burned leaf on different plant in the background )

That's awesome- I wonder if it will bloom at the same time as the other spikes?

well, the buds are about the same size as some others - some spikes on the parent have just started to bloom, others are smaller.
there are a couple keikis on this plant from last year that also have spikes - but they are bigger
