Default dendrobium pendulum....anyone grow it?

It was an impulse buy at an orchid show. I cant seem to find much on the web about it.

How big can it get? If having it mounted isn't working for me, can I put it in a pot with support? What's the best way to get it to flower?

I don't know anything about this Den, but Orchidwiz has a lot of info on it.
********
It grows to be about 2 to 8 inches and is from Papua New Guinea. Plants grow on tree fern and shady tree trunks in the mossy forests. Need about 2000-3000fc of light.

In their habitat they get about day temps 77-82F and night temps in the low 60s year round. They like high humidity (80-85%) and don't like to be completely dry.

In humidity is high they grow best mounted, but otherwise they can be grown potted in an open and fast draining medium. Repot when there's active root growth.

Apparently they bloom easily and quickly, usually in late winter/early spring.

Beaniebeagle. Its your dendrobium has knobby internodes??? If it's, that is indeed a proper name for that specie, Den. pendulum (formerly called crassinode) and its one of the species from section Dendrobium from SE Asia.

Treated just as most nobile type dendrobium. Lots of water and feeding from spring to summer, graudally reduce water in fall and give it a dry cool winter rest. This is one of the warmer growing one so, you don't need temperature down to 10'C. Winter night temp around 14-15 is good enough and give it a light misting every 7-10 days or so.
Best grown mounted because of its pendent canes. The cane are about 12" or so on average, but can be as long as over 2 feet, depending on how much you feed them and how much warmth it get during growing season. It blooms in spring and has very beautiful flower, white, pink and yellow lip (that may or maynot come with maroon eyes).
