Default Red Dend. Cuthbertsonii

The most common color and another photo of this desirable little orchid.

Where do you get you D. cuthbertsonii's. They are so beautiful!

I've gotten them from various dealers. I think this one came from Darren at Mountain Orchids. He has several different crosses (color varieties).

That one's killing me Ron! I'd do anything to grow this species successfully here.

Have you thought about an orchidarium of some kind - I grew them successfully in Houston that way.

I've got an intermediate terrarium that gets into the very low 80s max and down into the 60s at night lit by T5s. I've thought of trying them in there more than once. Den. laevifolium is currently in spike and I bloomed Den. delicatulum earlier this year. Those are warmer growing Oxyglossums, but they seem to be doing very well. Do you think those temps would be ok?

I've got the cold fridge tank too, but I don't think I can give them the light they're going to want in there , and I'm basically out of room, too.

I've been told that Erich Michel has line bred plants that have been selected for their warmth tolerance. I've contacted him to see what he thinks.
