I dont know if you've ever received material from them or not, if you have would you say the seedlings need to be replated?

It makes more sense to me to try to get a mother flask if that is the case. Especially if they are going to be so long in transit.

Hi SOS,

I've gotten commercial flasks from them and the seedlings were ready to plant out (I put them in compots). He actually does not recommend shipping mother flask because they come through so jumbled, but if you are going to replate them, that shouldn't be a problem.

and were yours shaken up that bad? If you were able to compot them, no problem I suppose.

Those I had gotten were in tubes and weren't too bad. Part of the problem is that they have to go to the USDA first and they don't take as much care as he does in packing and shipping them.

There are now six people who have sent me a list of plants they want to order: Tom, Duane, Anisa, Nat, Philip and myself. I'm waiting for one or two more, and if there's anyone else, now is the time to let me know.

Thanks for the bump, Philip. I am waiting for Richard to get back to me with a list of prices and availability - he's away this week. When I get that and confirm everyone's order, we are good to go - paperwork is ready, etc.

To all of you who are part of this order, the order was sent off yesterday along with the necessary paperwork. It will be sent either next week or the following and we should have it when it clears the USDA.

Im curious, what species did you all order?

Sidenote, got the only existing Oxyglossum book this week: Notes from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh: A revision of Dendrobium section Oxyglossum.

Alot of the information and pictures in the book aren't available anywhere on the internet.
