Default Dendrobium Noid

I am so excited! This is the first orchid that has bloomed under my care. It gives me confidence that maybe I can be successful at this.

I love the color. It might not be exotic, but I love it.

It looks like a dendrobium phalaenopsis type .. possibly a hybrid or cross with dendrobium bigibbum
Check out the images here
dendrobium - Google Image Search
If it is in it's parentage .. it actually has an exotic essence as it is the Cooktown orchid of Australia and Queensland's state flower

Thanks everyone! I purchased it at WalMart.

Dorothy--I looked at the Cooktown orchid and it is shaped differently, but it's certainly an interesting thought.

I actually have about 30+ orchids, all purchased since March. I have a cattleya hybrid that has sent up a spike and I'm waiting for that to open soon.

I remarked on it's parentage .. I didn't think it was a cooktown though on the google search page I posted .. there are some there that come close in petal/sepal form ... just trying to point you in some kind of direction ..
It is beautiful .. NOID or named
