Default LOl not sure what I have starting yet ....

Dendrobium pierardii has started into active growth and new leads are coming along well .....as well as something on teh canes I am not yet sure what it is ...buds or keiki ?

I am leaning towards them being Keikis

I would guess keikis as well. I have one of these (but know it as Den aphyllum) and if I remember right the buds emerge from the nodes. Are you giving it a good winter rest? Normally these guys should lose most of their leaves over the winter.

as for watering .....lol sort of ....yes no Maybe.

LOL sat on a top shelf because the canes are so long I filled the s/h up and I did spray it once in a while ...when I noticed it was totaly dry once I did fill the s/h back up but that was once all winter....

When I noticed it was making new leads I started watering again and moved to a warmer spot fixed chains to the pot so it would hang ect.....now I wait....

lol If I dont get blooms the first cycle after I got it I will not be upset thats the learning curve for someone that has never had a den that needs to go dormant in winter before....and Keikis are good
