Some of the more recent Yamamoto nobile hybrids will still bloom if you water (they are only semi-deciduous), so long as you do not fertilize.
Lots of bright flowers, dazzling to the eye!

Oh good! I have hope for mine. I reduced watering for the winter and have not fertilzed. It looks fat and happy. That could be what mine is, then.
