Dendrobium spectibile - blooming tips???

I recently purchased a very well established Den. specitibile and rather than make several divisions, I want to keep the plant in one piece. It has started to send out a new growth but I want to know what will promote blooms. My environment is intermediate and it is in a south facing window under T5 bulbs. I am new to Dendrobium culture as I mostly grow Paphs, Phrags, Coelogynes and everything in between.
