Anything i need to know about this one? appers to be of blooming age (20 or so bulbs) any tricks to get it to bloom?

Yes it is tricky to bloom. I have one and so far no luck. It does need a cool and dry winter rest and bright sunny position in winter as well. So try that and it should flower for you.

Dry, dry, dry. Once it's done growing for the season, keep it very bright and DO NOT water until the spikes appear. This plant really needs to be abused in the winter to bloom.

ok so stop and i mean stop watering till it spikes? no misting nothing? and is this for weeks or months?

I usually give mine water once every two weeks or so. Just keep an eye on it to make sure the pbulbs don't shrivel to much.
