Gorgeous! Hawaiian Sunshine, who posts on here has one of these and it too is gorgeous. I tried ordering one from a company in Ontario and they couldn't get it so I am still yearning for one

Guess what folks, we went to this huge nursery in Salinas, CA today to help a friend pick up some orchids for the show in San Diego. I was browsing through their collection when I came across these Den. Enobi. There were five of them and 4 that are in bloom. I immediately picked up and set aside the 4 that are in bloom without even asking for their price and continued picking up other plants. I was sooo excited.
After browsing most of their greenhouses I asked the the lady that was helping us about their prices but she immediately told me that they are not for sale and that they were hard to find. She told me that they got them from Taiwan. I took a group photo of them after she put the Not For Sale sign

Oh wow, what a shame you couldn't get them. I can understand her wanting to hang on to them though if they are difficult to find.

I tried to get one from a place called Crystal Star Orchids in Ontario, Canada. Here is the link to his website:
Crystal Star Orchids
It was on their list of available plants at the time. What he does is accumulate orders and then when he has a large enough order, he imports from Taiwan and other places. I didn't get mine because he didn't have enough orders, but was told they might have some in the spring. If he imports I would think he might also export to the U.S. So anyone interested enough to pursue getting an Enobi Purple Splash might want to try requesting one from him. Maybe if there are enough orders, he can get a bunch in. I have read from someone in Taiwan, that they are all over there and not uncommon at all.
